The Green Chilli With Everything exhibition was held on Sunday 6 December, 2009 in Grey Lynn, Auckland, New Zealand. It was an ambitious exhibition of twenty three paintings and sketches I had made, in a rather eclectic range of styles, inspired by the house and my local environment and featuring one which was a bowl of green chillies; hence the title of the exhibition. The show opened at 10.00 but one eager guest arrived at three minutes to 10.00am and by the opening time of 10 she had bought three paintings! The day continued like that with people coming and going, eating, drinking and chatting and...buying paintings!

Eleven of the twenty three paintings sold and they all stayed in the Auckland area. Surprisingly, Green Chillies didn't sell at the exhiibition, but it was bought ten years later, by a friend who remembered it from the exhibition.
