Small Things I (2012) Oil on canvas(sold)
I was invited by the Curator of the Waiheke Community Art Gallery in Oneroa to submit some paintings to this joint exhibition called Small Things. The specification was: the paintings had to be 150cm by 150cm and sell for $150. Crowds flocked to the gallery during the exhibition and the opening evening, which I attended, was buzzing with people in a very warm and creative atmosphere. Both my pieces sold.
